In some of my blogs, I make reference to my friend Ginny Anderson, an eco-psychologist living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
To learn more about Ginny, check out the post I wrote about her here:
For additional posts about Ginny and our experiences together, click on the “Eco-Psychology” category in the Categories section of my menu on the righthand sidebar.
Ginny has her own website, and I highly encourage all of my readers to check it out to learn more about Ginny and her work with eco-psychology. Here you can find out about workshops, presentations, and keep abreast of what Ginny is doing to promote eco-psychology and our connections to nature.

Wishing you much success, my friend.
Osh, I’m so thrilled that the concept of visiting places in this way is finding its expression in another part of the country – and that YOU’RE doing it! I’ll be looking forward to visiting the places you discover – hope to do that next year, when I travel to Ontario. I’ll be interested to know what you discover as Mother Earth communicates at those sites – so I’ll look forward to your writing.
Love and admiration –
Ginny
Ginny is referring to the fact that I am now trying to identify sites around my hometown in Southern Indiana which fit into the concept of eco-psychology and of finding those places that call to your own Inner Spirit. I am hoping to write about these places – but it may not appear on this blog.
I am in fact in the process of writing a book about my experiences, which I am hoping to publish in the next year or two.
So far, the places I have identified are:
1. Angel Mounds in Evansville, Indiana
2. New Harmony on the banks of the Wabash River, about 30 miles west of Evansville, Indiana
3. Audubon State Park, across the Ohio River in Henderson, Kentucky
If anyone has other suggestions, feel free to leave a comment.
Why not consider a similar project in YOUR area? Identify some of those outdoor natural places which call to your own Inner Spirit…why do they do so? What lessons to such sites have to teach you?
Sedona, Arizona is the strongest medicine spirit place that I have ever been.
I so agree I also found Sedona Arizona amazingly and surprisingly deep. I also think Chamonix (French Alps) and here in Tunisia which has had so many cultures come and go.
