On the Sixth Day of Christmas, my True Love gave to me… Six Geese A’laying, five golden rings. Four calling birds, three french hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree.
I love the simple shape of this vintage Danish Wooden Goose offered by aisle5. There’s just something about it that appeals to me, and hopefully to you as well…

I’m a big lover of quilts (I used to live in the heart of Amish country in Lancaster, Pennyslvania), and there actually is a quilt pattern called “Flying Geese.” Okay, okay…admittedly, these geese are flying instead of laying. Nevertheless, I think such a quilt would be warm and cozy to cuddle under on this final night of the year.

Finally, toast in the new year with this set of Gray Goose shot glasses, recycled and repurposed from the original vodka bottles. Just be sure to drink responsibly, and have a designated driver to bring you home safely!
