The Wheel of the Year continues to turn, and with the Sabbat of Lughnasadh (also known as Lammas), we now enter the harvest season. Even though many of us are suffering thru the “Dog Days” and its terrible heat wave, Lughnasadh actually represents the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall.
To further explain this day – which along with Imbolc, Beltaine, and Samhain makes up the four Greater Sabbats – once again I turn to my friend WitchesSky and her beautiful videos, which do a wonderful job of explaining the Sabbats for all of us. As always, this video is accessible to those who are deaf/hard of hearing.
Blessings to all of my Friends of the Crossroads at this beginning of the harvest.
