A FIELD GUIDE TO PAGANS, WITCHES, AND WICCANS Gerald Gardner’s witchcraft has undergone many changes due to its emergence as the favored “alternative religion.” As with any religion that becomes popular, people start adapting it to suit their own requirements, purposes, and agendas. This leads to the formation of many offshoots…or, if you will, denominations. [...]

Please note: This guide is intended as tongue-in-cheek humor. Take it as you will. Christo-Wiccan The Christo Wiccan is merely a sheep in Wiccan clothing. This person has not shaken the fetters of Christianity and does not want to. In fact, they basically have taken Christianity, changed a few nouns (e.g. “jesus” is now “Goddess,” [...]

Please note: This guide is intended as tongue-in-cheek humor. Take it as you will. Green Meanie Another offspring of the Marxist Socialist movement of the late 60′s/early 70′s, these are the radical environmentalists, the militant vegans, and the people who have copies of the Mother Earth News from * before * they accepted ads for [...]

Please note: This guide is intended as tongue-in-cheek humor. Take it as you will. McWiccan I coined the term “McWiccan” after encountering a person who asked “What is a Book of Shadows?” and, less than a month later, claimed to be an HP initiated by someone who was trained by Buckland (see “Glam Wiccan”). Unfortunately, [...]

Well, it had been yet another bad day in the office, and once again it was the fault of that new girl, MaryAnne. She is one of those Wiccans, a so-called Witch. How can anyone in their right mind make this claim, knowing that it goes against God and all of the teachings of the [...]

This post includes a video of dancing around the maypole. The video is not captioned, but can still be understood and enjoyed by deaf and hard of hearing viewers. When one thinks about Beltane, the image that comes to mind for many is the maypole. Indeed, the maypole is probably the best known and best [...]

I hope you will take the time to read my various posts, some of which are listed below. Welcome to the Crossroads, and I hope you make some connections here!
