As a Deaf Pagan, I am always seeking new ways to teach the Deaf Community about Earth-Based Spirituality – what we believe and what we practice. An important aspect of the Pagan Path is the Wheel of the Year, and the eight Sabbats which we celebrate during the turning of the wheel.
While there are many videos on YouTube which do discuss Paganism and the practice of such, many of them are not accessible (i.e. captioned) for deaf and hard of hearing viewers. Fortunately, I have been able to find a few which are. Many thanks to those who have created such videos, and I encourage other members of the Pagan Community to do so.
We are now celebrating the Sabbat of Ostara – the Spring Equinox. What exactly is Ostara? Perhaps the below video will help to explain…and also answer the question of where Easter eggs and Easter bunnies come from.
